QuickBooks Desktop 2022 subscription offering
QuickBooks Desktop will only be selling its Pro, Premier, and Mac products as Pro Plus, Premier Plus, and Mac Plus subscriptions. QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has been a subscription offering for a few years. The features are included with QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus and Premier Plus (Windows) editions:

Up to 38% faster, 64-bit.
Unlimited customer support and data recovery.
Premium time saving and money management features.
QuickBooks Desktop mobile app.
Intuit account requirements for QuickBooks Desktop
The requirement is needed to use many of the new features. The Company owner must log in to an Intuit® account when opening the Company file with the Admin user credentials.
Enhanced computing power (64-bit compliant)
64-bit is quicker; helps stay compliant with modern operating system standards and helps maintain third-party integrations. Customers on 32-bit software and hardware must upgrade to 64-bit to use QuickBooks Desktop 2022. See QuickBooks Desktop 2022 system requirements.
Upload vendor invoices via mobile device and auto-create bills for review
Users included in the Intuit account associated with the QuickBooks Desktop Company file can email or upload vendor bills: Take a picture of a bill with the QuickBooks Desktop mobile app or ask the vendor to email invoices to your customized QuickBooks email. QuickBooks Desktop will create a vendor bill transaction from the uploaded vendor invoice for your review and approval and store the digital copy to the computer where the QuickBooks Desktop file is stored.
Pay bills online with Melio® from within QuickBooks
Schedule vendor payments online within QuickBooks with services provided by Melio.
Accounts payable approval process
Delegate accounts payable tasks and have an established bill approval process before vendor bills can be processed for payment.
Customize and email vendor bill payment stubs
Customize bill payment stubs with business logo and details of payment made in QuickBooks and email them to vendors.
Attach documents to QuickBooks using a mobile device
Snap a picture of document(s) with the QuickBooks Desktop mobile app or scan documents into the QuickBooks Desktop Attachment Center and attach them to transactions or records.
Choose from multiple email customer contacts
Choose emails from a drop-down of emails associated with customers' records when emailing invoices in QuickBooks.
Add-on e-Commerce integration powered by Webgility®
Webgility is an industry leading platform that integrates with QuickBooks Desktop to simplify e-commerce management for QuickBooks Desktop users with online storefronts.
Payment links for customer pre-payments
Request money from customers for services or products not yet provided without an invoice. Email the link for them to make payment. Track the payment links sent in QuickBooks. When payment is received QuickBooks will record it as an unapplied customer credit in the Accounts Receivable account.
Instant deposits for QuickBooks Payments account users
Merchant payments can be instantly deposited into the business bank account.
Next day direct deposit for Assisted Payroll subscribers
Process payroll any time before 5pm (PT) the day before payday. The business owner processes payroll one day before payday and funds will be debited from the bank account on payday.
Simplified Assisted Payroll activation
Fewer steps are needed in setting up Assisted Payroll in QuickBooks Desktop Plus.
