Along with the new certification exam, there are two self-paced payroll training courses.
The QuickBooks Online Payroll course provides in-depth training on the features and capabilities of QuickBooks Online Payroll including the Payroll Center, which is the hub for running payroll. It covers what you need to know to calculate and process payroll, create reports, and carry out end-of-period activities along with advanced processes such as termination policies and setting up deductions and contributions.
The Payroll Specialist Fundamentals course is an overview of federal and state payroll compliance and regulations for employees and employers; paying taxes and submitting forms; and
The exam tests both product and compliance knowledge. You need a score of 80% to get the QuickBooks Online Payroll Certification.

While only QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor's will be able to access the certification preparation courses to take the exam, anyone with QuickBooks Online Accountant can view the courses.
Once you become certified, you'll get 100 ProAdvisor® tier points, CPE credits, a certificate, and QuickBooks Online Payroll Certification badges for marketing and for your listing in the Find-a-ProAdvisor directory.
