If you use Square to process your sales, the free Connect to Square app auto-imports all your Square sales transactions - sales, tips, discounts, refunds, taxes and fees - into QuickBooks® Online, saving you time and limiting data entry to reduce the risk of errors.

Transactions are synced with QuickBooks once a day. QuickBooks downloads your sales transactions directly from Square, categorizes and matches them to your bank records. All your sales transactions and item details are captured in a sales receipt for easy viewing. The data from Square appears in the App Transactions tab, right next to the Banking tab, so you can go over the details before adding them to QuickBooks Online.
These are some of the app’s smart features:
Import transactions either individually or as a summary - You can choose to bring transactions into QuickBooks Online - either as individual transactions, or as a summary so that you'll have a snapshot of your sales
Get only the sales information you need - You also choose the transaction information, such as customer and item details, that is pulled from Square and captured in a sales receipt.
Multiple location capability - If you have multiple locations, you can choose how each location’s transactions appear in QuickBooks Online during set-up, either as a daily summary of transactions or individual transactions by each location. You import all of your data in one place and choose which ones sync with QuickBooks Online.
