On June 1, Intuit announced upcoming price increases for three QuickBooks Online products.

Prices for New and Existing Subscriptions
QuickBooks Online Essentials will increase from $40 to $50 per month.
QuickBooks Online Plus will increase from $70 to $80 per month.
QuickBooks Online Advanced will increase from $150 to $180 per month.
Effective Dates
New subscriptions, upgrades, or downgrades - July 15, 2021
Existing customers who pay for their subscription directly - Aug. 1, 2021 (These customers will receive notification beginning July 1, 2021)
Accountant-billed subscriptions enrolled before July 15, 2021 with the wholesale discount - Sept. 1, 2021 (Those customers will not receive notification from Intuit. Affected accountants received this notification June 1)
There are no changes to QuickBooks Online Self-Employed or Simple Start pricing.
The price increases enable Intuit to reinvest in their ecosystem of products and accelerate innovations. Recent QuickBooks Online innovations include: Bill.Pay; QuickBooks Cash; and custom tags and reports.
